What's In the Challenge?
You know you need to ride with intention and have a good strength and conditioning plan to keep your horse sound, but . . . .
You aimlessly ride around the arena.
You ride random exercises you find online.
You know your horse needs to improve his topline but you're not sure what to do.
You're not sure how to track progress or when to change your program.
I got you.
Every schooling session is building your horse or breaking your horse, and I want you to know the difference.
Imagine you are days away from your most important horse show of the year. You're feeling a little nervous because your horse has been slow to warm-up all summer, but eventually he feels okay. You're worried something is about to go wrong. Then you get to the show and he is lame. You find the vet and hear "this has probably been building for awhile." Your heart sinks and you wonder if you could have caught the problem sooner had you known what to look for.
That's why I created the Soundness System Challenge. I absolutely know you want to design a training plan that keeps your horse sound and catches issues early. Let's work together for 5 days so you can increase your horse's odds of performing well and staying sound.
It's 100% FREE, so join today.
Hi, I'm Shelley
I'm an equine physical therapist, event rider, horse owner, and Master Reiki practioner. I work with riders at all levels, helping you monitor how your horse moves and create programs that keep your horse sound.
I think one of the kindest things we can do for our horses is to assume positive intent. Your horse wants to work with you, and if you can help them show up to work pain free, moving well, and feeling confident, their ability to perform will soar. When your horse struggles to learn new things or be a good athlete, it's often because he is uncomfortable, not strong enough, or lacks the building blocks to move properly. Let's work together to create a successful plan!
Think of me as your strength and conditioning coach. I can help you get your horse prepared for work and keep your horse on the road. This will make your training sessions and time with your coach much more effective.
I hope to work with you in the Soundness System challenge. See you there!
